A compliance check determines if you have any outstanding issues with the DMV that
would prevent you from completing a transaction. The compliance check finds your
customer record and then looks at any vehicles you own or lease.
The compliance check looks at the following areas:
- Are you up-to-date with the property taxes on your vehicle?
- Do you currently have any insurance violations related to your vehicle?
-
Is your vehicle listed as active and currently able to be registered?
- Have you successfully passed required emissions testing for your vehicle?
