A compliance check determines if your organization has any outstanding issues with
the DMV that would prevent you from completing a transaction. The compliance check
finds your organization’s record and then looks at any vehicles your organization
owns or leases.
The compliance check looks at the following areas:
- Are you up-to-date with the property taxes on your vehicle?
- Do you currently
have any insurance violations related to your vehicle?
- Is your vehicle listed
as active and currently able to be registered?
- Have you successfully passed required emissions testing for your vehicle?
Step 1 of 2 – Enter Organization Details.
- Begin searching for compliance issues by entering your Secretary of State
Number.
