Add or Update Your Email Address
Step 1 of 2: Provide Your Email Address and Personal Details.
The email notification service is only open to individual customers. Organizations are not eligible to sign up for email notifications.

If you have never provided your email address to the DMV before, enter your email address in the fields below.
If you are updating an email address, there is no need to provide your old email address. Enter your updated email address in the fields below. Once the new email address is submitted, the old email address will no longer be used.

You can receive your DMV correspondence via email by signing up for email notifications. You can also use this form to update the email already have on record with the DMV.
This service is currently not available for organizations.

In the

field, enter the email address you want to use to receive your DMV correspondence.
In the
Re-enter Email Address to Confirm
field, enter the same email address again. The system will check to make sure the two email fields are identical.
NOTE: If you are updating an email address, do not enter the old email address. You only need to provide the new address in the two Email fields.
For security reasons, enter your
First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth,
and
CT Drivers License Number/CT ID Card Number.

Use the format MM/DD/YYYY. For example, 09/08/1972.

Exactly as it appears on your CT Drivers License/CT ID Card.
Select the check box indicating that you have read the statement and are authorized to add or update the customer email record on file.
Select the check box to indicate that you have read and understand the statement regarding electronic signatures.
In the
Name
field, enter your name as your electronic signature. By entering you name, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions on this page.
Click
Continue.
This finalizes the addition of your email address or updates your email address.
