Before ordering a special plate, you need to verify your organization’s information as well as the plate information for the plate you want to replace with a special plate. You cannot order a special plate as the initial plate for a newly registered vehicle. You must have a currently active plate on a vehicle with an active registration.

Your Secretary of State number is the Business ID which is issued when you register your organization with the CT Secretary of State.
Your FEIN, Tax Identification Number, and License Number cannot be used in this search.
Plate Number
The plate number of the plate you are replacing with a special plate.
Plate Class
Only Camp Trailer, Camper, Combination, Commercial, Passenger plates are eligible to be replaced with special plate via the web site.
